Question - Does anyone know if cats eat toads?

I have been seriously thinking about getting a pet. I am told toads do not need too much attention, either.

Well, Alfred has a cat - nasty thing - and we were discussing how many pets I cannot have because the cat would eat it. I am not going to let a cat keep me from being able to do anything, so I have decided to get something.

Besides, toads are funny-looking creatures. Rather amusing.

I'm more of a dog person, but they're not one of the pets they allow here at Hogwarts.

Oh, I agree! Dogs are great pets - It is a shame they are not allowed here.
